What You'll Need:
Steps:
Connect to the WiFi Ranger: On your laptop, tablet, or smartphone, search for available WiFi networks. Look for a network name that starts with "Pvt. WiFiRanger_Model XXXX" (Model being your specific WiFi Ranger model and XXXX being the last 4 digits of the device's ID number). This is the temporary network created by your WiFi Ranger.
Enter Password: Connect to the WiFi Ranger network. You'll be prompted to enter a password. The default password is typically "changemenow" followed by the last four digits of the unique ID in your device's SSID (e.g., Pvt. WiFiRanger_Model1234, password would be changemenow1234). If you've changed the default password, use the password you created.
Access the Control Panel: Open a web browser and try either http://mywifiranger.com/ or http://10.1AB.CD.1:8080/ (replace ABCD with your device's last four digits) to access the WiFi Ranger's control panel.
Connect to Local WiFi: On the WiFi Ranger's Main page, locate the campground's WiFi network on the list. Click "CONNECT" next to it, and enter the password if prompted. The WiFi Ranger will then attempt to connect to the chosen network, and your devices will have internet access (if the campground WiFi does).
Save and Connect: Once you've entered the campground WiFi credentials, save the configuration on the WiFi Ranger's control panel. The WiFi Ranger will attempt to connect to the campground WiFi.
Verify Connection: After a few moments, the WiFi Ranger's control panel should show a successful connection status. You are now connected to the internet through your WiFi Ranger.
Additional Tips:
By following these steps, you should be able to connect your WiFi Ranger to the campground WiFi and enjoy a more reliable internet connection inside your RV.
