How to change search settings on Trav'ler Pro

You can change the antenna type and search mode settings for your Trav'ler Pro satellite dish from the RV Halo app.

To change the antenna type:

  1. Open the RV Halo app and log in if necessary.
  2. Tap the Trav'ler Pro device from your device list.
  3. Tap Advanced Settings.
  4. Tap the Antenna Type drop-down and select the provider that matches your installed hardware.
  5. You will need to confirm the selection to proceed.

To change the search mode settings:

  1. Open the RV Halo app and log in if necessary.
  2. Tap the Trav'ler Pro device from your device list.
  3. Tap Advanced Settings.
  4. Under Search Mode Settings, you can change the search type between Multi-satellite and Single Satellite.
    • Multi-satellite is the default setting and will automatically assign the satellite options based on the antenna type.
    • By changing the search type to Single Satellite, you can select an individual satellite from the bottom drop-down list.
  5. When changing the satellite listed in the bottom drop-down, you will be asked to confirm your selection.
  6. A search attempt will look for the specified satellites once you change these settings.

Additional information:

  • Changing the antenna type is required when you convert from one provider to another.
  • If you are having trouble finding a satellite, you may need to change the search mode to Single Satellite and select the satellite manually.

Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting Trav'ler Pro search settings:

  • Make sure that your Trav'ler Pro is properly connected to your RV's power supply.
