  • Device Requirement (Important): Winegard Flex 5G plans require setting your device's Access Point Name (APN) to iot.cc
    Before purchasing or adding a SIM card, ensure your device supports custom APN configuration.
  • Prerequisites:
  • A Winegard Flex 5G physical SIM card and its printed ICCID number.
  • A valid credit or debit card for payment.
Step 1: Access the Flex Portal & Sign In / Register

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to the Winegard Flex portal. flex.winegard.com

  2. Existing Users: Enter your registered Email and Password, then click Submit.

  3. New Users:

  • Select Register a new user.

  • Fill out the registration form with your First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number.

  • Create a password meeting security criteria (at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one symbol).

  • Confirmation code will be emailed to you. Confirm account to complete registration.


Step 2: Add Your SIM Card

  1. Click the + Add SIM button.

  2. In the popup window:

  • Note the APN configuration requirement (iot.cc).

  • Enter the ICCID printed on your Winegard Flex 5G SIM card (or tap the barcode scan icon to scan via camera).

  • Click Add SIM.




Step 3: Select Plan & Proceed to Checkout

  1. In the My SIMs list, select the card corresponding to your newly registered SIM (displaying No Data Plan).

  2. On the SIM details screen, click Buy Cellular Data.

  3. In the Add Cell Data dialog:

  • Confirm the SIM selection under Select Plan Type.

  • Under available US plans, select Flex T-Mobile 5G Unlimited ($99 / 30 days, 1000 TB). Please note 1000TB is a value place holder required by our system only. You do have unlimited data.

  • Click Buy.



Step 4: Add Shipping Address (Required if no shipping address is saved)

  1. In the Checkout window, select + New Address under Shipping Address.

  2. Complete all required fields:

  • First Name & Last Name

  • Company (optional)

  • Street Address, City, State, Country, and Postal Code

  • Phone Number (Fax optional)

  1. Under General Information, specify an Address Nickname (e.g., Home or Primary) and optionally toggle Default Shipping Address.

  2. Click Save Shipping Address.




Step 5: Add Payment Method (Required if no payment method is saved)

  1. Under Payment Method in Checkout, click + New Method.

  2. Choose Payment Type (e.g., Credit).

  3. Enter your Card Number, Expiration Month, Expiration Year, and CVV.

  4. Select or enter your Billing Address.

  5. Provide a Nickname for the payment method (e.g., Travel Perks Visa) and optionally set as Default Payment Method.

  6. Click Save Payment Method.




Step 6: Review, Configure Recurring Payments, and Purchase

  1. Select your desired payment card.

  2. Review recurring billing preferences:

  • Enable recurring payments (Toggle ON): Automatically renews every 30 days.

  • Toggle OFF: One-time purchase for a 30-day term.

  1. If applicable, enter a promotional coupon code and click Apply.

  2. Review the Order Summary ($99.00 Subtotal, $0.00 Taxes, $99.00 Total).

  3. Click Pay $99.00.

  4. If recurring payments were toggled ON, a confirmation prompt appears stating: "Payments for this service will be debited from your account every 30 days." Click Confirm & Pay $99.00.

  5. When the Payment successfully completed screen appears showing the Invoice Number and Transaction ID, click OK to finish.


Step 7: Configure APN on Your Device

Before attempting to connect to data, ensure your router or hotspot device has the APN configured:


  • Access Point Name (APN): iot.cc


Save settings and restart your equipment if needed to establish connection to the T-Mobile network.
